Cream Tea and History Afternoon

4 June: 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Village History, Royal Film & Cream Teas

Looking Back in Time

Join us in Ravensthorpe Village Hall from 2- 5pm where there will be a display including a selection of memories from villagers, and photos, to give a picture of the changes in Ravensthorpe and Coton over the last 70 years.

Ravensthorpe and Coton 1952-2022 is a project that will be ongoing for a few more months, collecting stories from villagers, and photos from the period. The plan is to produce a book to give us a lasting record.

A video will be shown of the Wool Festival from 1991.

Then you can sit down to enjoy a cream tea from 3pm, served by members of the WI, whilst on the big screen will be a film of Queen Elizabeth II’s Reign.

If you yourself, or someone you know, would like a tea delivered to you at home – this can be arranged – just phone the number below.

Ravensthorpe and Coton residents will get first preference for tickets which are free

These are available from Ticketsource using the link below or by phoning Di Hayes on 01604 770482

Book your places quickly – demand is expected to be high.

We are able to offer these tickets free of charge due to help from generous sponsors including Ravensthorpe and Coton Parish Council
